It’s been a perfect week so far for City as they reached the semi-finals of the Champions League for the first time after beating West Brom last weekend to earn another step closer to guaranteeing Champions League football next season.

For the rejuvenated Chelsea, despite not having much to play for they’ll still be looking to play party-poopers and disallow City a perfect three-win seven days at Stamford Bridge.

With what looks like it could be a tight game in West London, Chelsea are 9/5 for another three points whereas City are slight favourites at 7/4 with a draw at 5/2.

Two of the last three league meetings between this pair have ended in 1-1 draws and that’s 6/1, which may be worth a punt bearing in mind Chelsea have drawn five home games since the turn of the year.

City beat the champions 3-0 in their last league meeting back in August which is a huge 28/1, whereas City’s last win at Stamford Bridge was a 2-1 win in the FA Cup in 2013, that’s at 10/1.

Chelsea’s last home victory against City also came in 2013 in 2-1 fashion and that’s also 10/1 with a narrow 1-0 victory for either side also at tens.

Reuben Loftus-Cheek opened the scoring in Chelsea’s last win away at Aston Villa, he’s 20/1 to do it again, whereas Cesc Fabregas netting first in the Blues’ last home game and is 12/1 to open the scoring. Alex Pato scored twice in Chelsea’s hammering of Villa and 13/2 to break the deadlock.

If City are to open the scoring, Sergio Aguero is inevitably favourite at 4/1, although Kevin De Bruyne struck the only goal in Manchester on Tuesday to see City through and is 8/1 to net first. Fernando scored in City’s away win at Bournemouth at the start of the month and he’s at 40/1.

Elsewhere, defenders Cesar Azpilicueta and Gary Cahill are 50 and 28/1 to score first with Nicolas Otamendi and Aleksandar Kolarov 33 and 25/1.

BTTS have scored in 75% of Chelsea’s home games but has been rarer in City’s away games, BTTS is 4/6 with both teams 4/1 to win with BTTS.

Pellegrini’s men have kept a clean sheet in 60% of their away games this season and are 5/2 to do so again with over 2.5 goals, which has been the case in 62% of Chelsea’s home games is 5/6.

Match specials include Aguero and Costa both to score at 11/2, with Yaya Toure to score from outside the box 15/2 and Branislav Ivanovic to score a header at 14/1.
